The Artist Soul Website was launched in 2020 by five Management Accounting students. We named this blog “The Artist Soul” because we want the viewers to see the artistic soul of an artist reaching out to them. This platform will be a tool for the artist to express their soul’s emotional meaning that the viewers can be able to translate. It is in our deepest intention to support every art and most importantly to introduce the creator of these masterpieces.
The contents will showcase the works of the artist, their inspiration, and their progress in their industry. It aims to give viewers the knowledge of their techniques and skills, and with high hopes, grant awareness and acknowledgment to all kinds of art, as well as appreciation to the artists.
Just like the artist's soul, we hope this platform will help the viewers see the world more differently. May this site be a way for you to find your subject and connect you to your artistic soul.

PANDESAII
Illustration arts are under-appreciated by most people. It has been a long-time struggle for every artist, wherein people still see art as just a passion and nothing more. This stigma must stop and allow our artists to be able to express themselves in the crafts they are most comfortable doing. Yet, Sai’s art for us speaks out the volume. She tackles those topics that not all the people in the world accept. Nowadays, gender identity has been a struggle for many young people. Sai portrays these topics in a soft and warm matter, through the choices of her color and the message she wants to project which is love and acceptance. She is very loving to our mother country; inspiring young fellow Filipinos to appreciate her artistry and the beauty of art in the Philippines. Expressing what she believes in and embracing those memories and feelings she was able to convey through her art which makes us feel very proud that we are living in this lifetime with an artist who has such passion and view in her work of art. In that, we have learned from her that Art is a freedom of expression.
SETH ARLAN
Music is one of the best creations there could ever be, and we know for a fact that a lot of people appreciate the existence of music so much. As a person who cannot live without music, we are greatly amused as to how the music industry works through an interview with a song composer and producer. like Seth. Seth is a great musician and composer. The way he answered our question was very honest and seemed human. By this, what we truly meant is that he is one of those artists who are genuine to their talent. He is one of those artists who simply do what he loves to do and does not mind exploring more of his artistry. It is quite humbling and comforting that there are still artists out there who are not blinded by fame and money, and when you listen to his music, it gives you a nostalgic feeling. Like he said his songs are honest and straight to the point but some of it lies and some are hidden like a jigsaw puzzle, to retain that mystery. The way how he creates his music is based on his experience, it led us to realize that even though we experience painful events in our life, we can overcome it, through learning and making it into a positive experience, to help us remember that life challenges are but an obstacle in molding us to where we want to be.
ELENA BUNCARAN
Reading is such an exciting activity, some of us considered it a pleasure. Reading positively affects our lives in many ways. There is something more about digesting the words into feelings. Reading allows us to time travel and go to places with the comfort of our place. But behind all of these experiences are writers who are very passionate about their craft. Knowing Elena, a Filipina like us, was a privilege. It was like getting to know all the other writers of the books that we have read. Her works have been about matured romance, some may be cliché but most of it gives out great life advice. It also made us realized that not all writers want to create stories about a perfect life. Some writers want to show the world, the beauty in imperfection. We are very astonished to fathom how she uses writing to feed the soul of the readers. For us, writing and creating a story is a complex form of art. The structure and the flow of the stories give it life. It is hard to construct art like this so that the readers will appreciate it. But every phrase that Elena had put in her stories, had delivered strong and great emotions. Her works are truly a work of art.
Cee
Everything that we work for started with just a hobby which then turned into a passion. Cee is a great travel blogger and a content creator which is visible from the rewards she has accumulated throughout the year. Blogging is another form of art of expression. We can see that travelling to different places is the best way to get some inspiration, one of our goals in life is to see the world and when we can do that, one can say "I have truly lived life". At least it is what it is for us. However, some people do not have the time and the luxury to be able to do so, Cee and all who share the same interests as hers are a bridge to those people and the world - they go beyond extra measures to share how they see the world like her, she introduced places based on what she experienced and share it to other people. Hoping that it will attract them and indulge them, personally, to go and see the beauty of the world and throughout this interview, we were able to unravel more about the life of a content creator. That there is more to them than the face of their website created to give entertainment or information. Them utilizing the platform to influence the target audience and create a lasting relationship.
INSIGHTS
Overall, after conducting an interview with these 4 beautiful and talented artists, we realized that art is not just to please the eyes and gives beauty and aesthetics but it is so much more. Art deeply captures the inner part of us, which is our soul, and there are many ways on how their works have interactions with us. First is it educate us, take for example Sai's artworks and other artists like her. They have slowly helped people accept and understand the LGBTQ community. Hence, explaining their struggles within the community and letting people know through their art. Second, it let us reminisce the memories from the past that can deeply touch our feelings. Take for example the music that Seth has released. With a slow and low tempo, we can reminisce about all the memories we have made and be grateful that once in our lives, we experienced moments like those. Lastly, it teaches us different life lessons. Every piece we see in an artwork has a deeper meaning and a symbol, in which we can gain learning that we, ourselves, can apply in our daily life. Art is a wholesome and wonderful thing. It can be anything we want it to be if partnered with passion and honesty.
